Fertilizing your lawn keeps your grass happy and healthy. If your lawn is brown and spotty, it is asking you to feed it with some fertilizer.
A healthy yard needs to be fed at least twice a year. Once in the spring and again in the fall.
But when you hire Lambs Lawn Care, we will design a custom application for your yard.
Fertilizer consists of 3 elements, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. These numbers are expressed using a sequence of numbers. For instance, 12-12-12. These numbers represent the percentage of each element that is in that fertilizer. A 12-12-12 fertilizing mixture is 12% Nitrogen, 12% Phosphorus and 12% Potassium.
Nitrogen is the key element for growing tall and green grass. Phosphorus is used for growing strong root systems, while Potassium helps your yard fight off diseases and drought.
